KANCHANPUR, APR 11 - A girl, who had been rescued after drowning in a river, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Khatima, India, on Friday.
Radhika Thapa, of Babathan from Dodhara VDC-1 of Kanchanpur was rescued in an unconscious state from the Jogbudha River . She was reportedly swept away by the river while she was bathing in the river on Thursday.
She was luckily rescued and rushed to the local hospital and to India for further treatment.
Thapa was a Grade 2 student at Jubi Boarding School, Babathan.
